We're looking for dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Green Project team, supporting children aged 5–11 as they discover the joys of growing their own food, learning about sustainability, and building life-long skills.
We're looking for dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Green Project team, supporting children aged 5–11 as they discover the joys of growing their own food, learning about sustainability, and building life-long skills. Do you love being outdoors and working with children? We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to assist weekly at our allotment. You don’t need gardening experience—just a positive attitude, willingness to help, and a love for nature and children. Your role will include: • • Supporting lead gardeners with sessions • • Helping children with planting and gardening tasks • • Being a familiar, trusted presence each week • • Arriving 30 minutes before and staying to help clean up after sessions You’ll need a DBS check and safeguarding training, which we will cover the cost for. We ask for consistency so children can build trusted relationships. You are welcome to volunteer for more than 2 hours a week if you wish.

They will be working with a great team and also they will be helping children to better their lives and skills. This team is an amazing team in Croydon and they will also have fun while doing it.
