Volunteers should be passionate about their trades and enjoy working with young people. Great communication skills are essential.
At Construction and Engineering Opportunities (CEO), we believe in the power of community and the transformative impact of giving back. If you possess building trades skills, and perhaps even hold relevant qualifications, we invite you to join our mission of empowering vulnerable young people in South London. Our community interest company focuses on providing plumbing and electrical skills training, mentorship, work experience, and employability skills to create better opportunities for the next generation. By dedicating just a few spare hours a week, you can play a crucial role in shaping brighter futures, and your hands-on knowledge can become a guiding light for those seeking a path to success. Join us in building a stronger community and empowering the leaders of tomorrow. This is a very rewarding role; each day, you will go home knowing that you have made a difference in a young person's life. Our small, friendly team will help you build confidence (if needed), and support you every step of the way. Travel costs will be reimbursed and snacks will be provided.
