The Feast Youth Project
The Feast is currently recruiting for new members The Feast's Tower Hamlets Local Advisory Group (LAG). The LAG is a small group of friendly volunteers who share ideas and support the work of the Feast by offering advice and raising its profile in the local community. They discuss experiences, opportunities and encourage interfaith dialogue. As a member you will attend 6-8 board meetings a year regarding Feast initiatives. Meetings are on Monday afternoons for 90 minutes, once every 6 weeks.
The Feast bring together teenagers from different faiths and cultures to build friendships, explore faith and change lives. Meetings are on Monday afternoons for 90 minutes, once every 6 weeks, and take place in person. You will have an interest in working with people from different faiths and backgrounds, and view young people as agents of change in the local community. Ideally you will commit to being a member of the group for 6 months. You will work with other LAG members and be supported by the Hub Manager.

You will be: - A person of faith who cares about Tower Hamlets - Interested in working with people from different faiths and backgrounds - View young people as agents of change in the local community - Support The Feast vision and ethos - Have local knowledge and ideas on how to support Feast initiatives, including fundraising - Be able to attend 90 minute meetings in Bethnal Green every 6 weeks on Monday afternoons.
- Be a part of a board where you will be involved in local decision-making and have an impact on the local community. - This is a chance to develop your leadership skills, organisational skills, and communication skills. It is an exciting experience. - Opportunity to make a real difference.
Ideally, you will attend 90 minute meetings in Bethnal Green every 6 weeks on Monday afternoons for a minimum of 6 months.
