We are looking for someone to deliver games and activities our multi use games area pitch (MUGA) to help encourage our members to participate in team sports.
We are looking for someone to support in our multi use games area pitch (MUGA) to help encourage our members to participate in team sports. We are looking for volunteers who are keen to get outside and support young people to get involved in football training. - Plan and deliver engaging sport sessions including a drill training activity and game-playing - Be passionate and encouraging, promoting young peoples participation and team spirit - Encourage health, wellbeing and active engagement in sport activities. - Help young people understand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle - Ensure that activities, equipment and space is kept in good condition, safe for use and managed effectively This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in sports coaching, teaching or management. You'll get hands-on practical experience working with young people in a sports setting and the opportunity to explore your creativity, take ownership of your own activities and lead a training session. It would be a great fit for someone considering a career in sports coaching, looking for practical experience in sports leadership, or with a background in the field who is interested in sharing their skills and experience with young people.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with young people in a motivational way Passion and excitement for outdoor sports eg. football, creative and dynamic in planning games, drills and activities for young people in sport Prior experience working with young people (preferred but not essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and a good listener. Committed to supporting young people in their personal and educational development. Ability to maintain confidentiality and set appropriate boundaries.
Volunteering at Legacy will not only give individuals the opportunity to be part of the bigger picture but to also join an award winning youth provision that is providing thousands of young people access to a broad range of activities, enabling them to discover talents and skills they otherwise might not have known they had. This helps young people, some from disadvantaged backgrounds, channel their energy in positive and productive ways whilst making friends and learning new skills. We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated young volunteers who are interested in supporting young people, helping them to become the best versions of themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for someone available to commit to one evening session per week for up to 4 hours maximum, for the duration of the school term.
