Patient Journey Navigator

Greenwich Health Ltd

The primary focus of this role is to encourage and support as many patients as possible, especially those who may struggle with technology, to use the Digital Front Door (DFD) system.

Detailed Description

Purpose of the Role: The primary focus of this role is to encourage and support as many patients as possible, especially those who may struggle with technology, to use the Digital Front Door (DFD) system. By providing warm, one-to-one guidance, volunteers will help patients complete the DFD check-in process confidently and independently, reducing the need to queue at reception. This improves patient flow, eases pressure on front desk staff, and enhances overall experience within the Urgent Treatment Centre. What is the Digital Front Door (DFD)? The Digital Front Door is a touchscreen system that lets patients check in and answer a few simple health questions when they arrive. It helps the clinical team understand patients’ needs earlier and allows people to be seen in the right order, without needing to queue at reception. Location of the role: Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) / Main Reception Area
