Compassionate Neighbours
St Joseph's Hospice Hackney
Compassionate Neighbours is a social movement working to reduce social isolation.
Compassionate Neighbours are network of trained people who offer their time, companionship and support to people living in their community who are coping with serious illness or old age. They help others by visiting regularly, offering friendship, emotional support and a listening ear, helping them to do the things they like doing and helping them stay connected to the community as well as family and friends. You can also pop along to one of our coffee mornings? They take place on the first Thursday of every month from 11am -1pm in the Community Hub at St Joseph’s Hospice and all are welcome!
