A great volunteering opportunity which allows those with good administrative skills to impact the lives of older people by supporting vital services!
Duties: • Providing admin support to Information and Advice Advisers • Completing forms with clients • Returning calls to clients • Following up on outcomes from benefit claims for clients by telephone • Sending out letters and information to clients • General office duties including photocopying and filing • Database inputting • Creating, sending, and recording client evaluation surveys or carrying out surveys over the phone • Maintaining professional boundaries • Practicing confidentiality and data protection at all times
Administration
Admin, IT Skills - Basic, Initiative/Self Motivation, Time Management, Verbal Communication, Teamwork
Skills Required: • Excellent communication and listening skills • Polite phone manner • Good organisational skills, commitment and reliability • Being an excellent team player • Able to work on your own and prioritise tasks • Good IT skills, including use of various Microsoft Office programs
