Event Planner Volunteer

Our charitable organisation is committed to tackling health inequalities and is providing free access to Black therapists. You will be helping promote our Making Time for Black Mental Health Monthly Events.

Detailed Description

Remote Part-Time Event Planner Volunteer working 2 hours a day to support in-person & online Making Time for Black Mental Health Monthly Events. Contribute to the 2025 strategic event business plan. Create and manage event time schedule program by assigning events roles to the event team. Set up Eventbrite pages and manage Eventbrite delegate reminders. Manage and engage with speakers, stakeholders, sponsors and exhibitors. Manage event tracking spreadsheet to schedule email communications to volunteers and stakeholders. Carrying out administrative tasks relating to event management.

Why these skills are required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Minimum 3 years event management experience any industry. Strong Eventbrite software skills. Basic Canva software skills. Ability to write strong event content. Knowledge of how to promote an event. Strong administration and IT skills and Google Drive. Use of WhatsApp to communicate with events team. Creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work remotely without supervision. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Good communications skills. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Proactively communicate new ideas or event management changes with confidence. Interest in working with a small charitable organisation and willingness to work as part of a small team. Interest in mental health and addressing health inequalities by tackling stigmas.
