We are looking to join forces with champions and individuals across Greenwich and Lewisham to capacity build in SE London around energy efficiency changes people can make to their homes.

We are looking to join forces with champions and individuals across Greenwich and Lewisham to help raise awareness about the importance of: Reducing energy consumption Retrofitting homes and buildings (Retrofit means to improve the energy efficiency of an existing building through insulation, heating system upgrades, and local power generation.) Reimaging how we can live in our homes and communities Through: Mobilising your local networks (through inviting them to local events to learn about retrofit) Sharing your experiences of retrofitting your home

We are looking for people who are: - great communicators - good listeners - passionate about the role that our buildings and homes play in a healthy future for all - have installed or are going to install energy efficiency measures in their homes - connected to their local communities (or have neighbours who are)
Selce will: Hold monthly champion peer-to-peer sessions Co-ordinate and organise events that address questions and curiosities in your communities about retrofit and energy efficiency Create opportunities for collective practical learning around energy efficiency
We will begin with a call to scope out how you can champion retrofit in your local community: - co-hosting a demonstrator event in your home - sharing resources with your neighbours - co-hosting a local discussion or networking event - volunteering at local events or spreading the word
