Supporting and teaching our young people aged 10 -17 in the local area.
Sea Cadets aims to launch young people for life by providing nautical training and fun to young people aged 10-17 based on the traditions of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. We offer a wide range of life skills and activities from sailing, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, community service, Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, BTECs, catering, communications, navigation, and music; all whilst developing skills in leadership and teamwork. We received the King's Award for Voluntary Service in 2025. Please register your interest in the volunteer role and we can arrange a visit to our unit.

We offer flexible volunteering based around a mutually agreed minimum commitment. For some people this may mean one parade (meeting) per week; but most of us enjoy offering more thanks to great cadets and friendly co-volunteers.
