Teaching Assistant Volunteer

Teaching support assistants required for 1:1 classroom-based support at our specialist school for young people who have faced a disrupted education.

Detailed Description

Supporting our small, friendly alternative provision school, your placement will be based in the classroom, where you will help the teacher support teenagers who need extra support, encouragement and prompting, including young people with undiagnosed special needs and those for whom English is a second language.

We can offer childcare-friendly hours and support to get valuable work experience in a busy setting. We are a small team and volunteers are fully supervised and an important part of our team.

Time Commitment

We can offer 1 day week up to 5 days a week, term time, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 2.30pm. We can be flexible to you and offer hours to work around your schedule.
