Trustee

West Thamesmead Community Association

We would like to expand the reach and impact of our organisation by inviting you to consider joining us as a trustee.

Detailed Description

We would like to expand the reach and impact of our organisation by inviting you to consider joining us as a trustee. As trustees we guide the direction of our work to meet our mission of connecting the community, enhancing the local environment, and providing a community voice. You can visit the website for a reflection of our ambitions for West Thamesmead: https://www.westthamesmead.org.uk/about/ We aim to meet once a month in the near term to guide our currently active projects - Love Soup Café, Gallions Copse Wild Urban Garden, and Tidy West Thamesmead, as well as develop other projects that support our mission. We are currently a constituted community organisation registered with MetroGAVS, however we have submitted an application to become a Community Interest Company (CIC) to expand our funding opportunities. If you would consider joining us as trustees, we would like to invite you to our next trustees meeting in April.
