Walk Coordinator
Mums and Bumps Family Hub CIC
N/A
Mums & Bumps Family Hub CIC is looking for a dedicated and organised Walk Coordinator to help lead our growing maternal wellbeing walks. As our community expands, we need a reliable pair of hands to ensure our sessions are safe, inclusive, and well-managed. This isn't just about walking; it’s about creating a space where mums feel seen, supported, and safe. Key Responsibilities • Route Planning: Pre-scoping walk routes to ensure they are "buggy-friendly," accessible, and have nearby facilities (toilets/cafes). • On-the-Day Logistics: Managing the "check-in" of attendees, ensuring everyone has signed in, and acting as the main point of contact for the group's location. • Safety & Pace: Leading the front of the group or "back-marking" to ensure no mum is left behind and the pace is comfortable for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy. • Volunteer Coordination: On larger walks (100+ people), helping to brief and position other marshals or helpers. • Feedback: Briefly chatting with attendees to gather feedback or "mood checks" to help improve future sessions.
