Volunteer HIV Tester will be fully trained to provide community-based instant HIV finger-prick testing in outreach setting. Volunteers will support the testing with outreach activities and provide sexual health and HIV information and advice. Outreach role will take place at various events across Croydon and south London boroughs

The role will provide comprehensive training on skills in HIV prevention and testing; it will also allow volunteers to gain skills in outreach, teamwork, and community development. It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the areas of health, counselling, social justice and equity and community outreach.
We are looking for volunteers that can provide support 2-4 hours support a week, however you can also be part of a team that goes on Rota on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Our Centre is open for testing Wednesday 5-7pm and Thursday 2-5pm.Our Outreach takes place mainly at weekends
