This role involves providing one-to-one maths tutoring to a refugee child who is experiencing significant educational barriers. The child has a chronic health condition that affects his ability to access tutoring activities in the community. The role will involve providing support to child at his home (SE18) for a minimum of 1 hour per week. Relevant training will be provided as part of the volunteer induction,

You will join a team of volunteers who support Syrian and Afghan refugees in the Greenwich Borough. You will gain insight into the experiences of refugee students (unique educational barriers experienced).
