Supporting Carer with Medical and Home support
Sitting service: Support to sit with a caers loved one when they are in hospital or Hospice. Visits to Hospital, GP or Dentist appointments: Accompany the carer to the appointment Shopping and Prescriptions: Collect shopping and or prescriptions for the Carer in an emergency so they stay with their loved one. End of life/ Bereavement: Help support to sign post to care groups and be with them and counselling group therapy. Sit with Carer at the bedside of loved one.

The person would need to be caring, a good listener and able to use their initiative to give the correct support at the right time.
The volunteer will received the training needed to be able to carry out the role. Travel expenses are paid for them to and from appointments. Good sense of achievement Support 1.1
