Love Soup Café Crafts & Games Team provides activities and games for guests of all ages to participate in. This includes planning and preparing crafting activities and supporting guests to participate safely and appropriately. Activities include crafting, colouring, reading, and games.

Detailed Description

Love Soup Café Crafts & Games Team provides and supervises activities and games for guests of all ages to participate in. As part of the team your tasks will include: - Accept delegated responsibilities from Crafts & Games Coordinator & Café Host - Support team coordinator in planning and preparation of craft/game activities. - Provide directed & undirected support to guests participating in the weekly craft and game activities. - Ensure safe and responsible use of craft and game equipment by all ages. - Ensure safe and responsible use of soft furnishings and play area by all ages. - Work as part of the team to support age appropriate groups during craft and game activities. - Notify team coordinator of damage to craft/game equipment. - Notify team coordinator of low inventory of craft/game equipment. - Attend Thursday s from 12:00 -17:30 or timeshare the role on a rota. When unavailable inform volunteer coordinator as soon as possible to arrange cover.

Volunteers public transport (bus) expenses will be covered where necessary. Time Commitment

This role requires a minimum of 3 hours and up to 6 hours a week on Thursdays. The commitment can be from 1-4 times a month in rotation with other volunteers.

Broadwater Village Hall is located behind the Heronsgate Medical Centre on Goosander Way. Heronsgate Primary School is across the street (Goosander Way) Both the 244 and 380 bus have stops at Heronsgate Primary School on Whinchat Road. The bus stops are a 1-2 minute walk from Broadwater Village Hall. Plumstead and Woolwich Arsenal stations are between 12/15 mins distance by both the 244 and 380 bus.
