Why these skills are required

The HHSO needs to be proactive and take the initiative to work through the tasks allocated to the role. They need to work with representatives of venues and other organizations, negotiating in the interest of the Festival. They also need to be an active member of the Festival team, contributing to a successful Festival.

What is in it for you

This role will especially appeal to volunteers who are interested in (mainly) classical music and speech and drama, and who want to see these arts flourish in Sutton. There are opportunities to watch performances by some highly gifted young (and older!) entrants, as well as developing knowledge of Health and Safety and safeguarding issues.

Time Commitment

Over the year this amounts to no more than one day a week, but it peaks in the autumn run up to the Festival. Presence during parts of the Festival is needed.
