The Organiser needs to take responsibility for the Festival, but must be able to delegate most of the specific duties to other volunteers.
This role will especially appeal to volunteers who are interested in (mainly) classical music and speech and drama, and who want to see these arts flourish in Sutton. There are opportunities to watch performances by some highly gifted young (and older!) entrants, as well as developing team leadership skills.
Over the year this amounts to no more than two days a week, but it peaks in the autumn run up to the Festival. Presence during parts of the Festival is needed.
