TCS London Marathon start line clothing recycling volunteer (for BHF)

If you feel that you could take on a fairly physically demanding role, why not sign up for our start line recycling activity at the TCS London Marathon this April? Based at one of the race's start zones, you will be working as one of our amazing recycling team, identifying donation points to runners and collecting/ bagging clothing ready for collection by our vans.
The race is on to heal hearts together. Around 26 million people worldwide are living with heart failure and over 920,000 people have the condition in the UK alone. Following a successful 2022 London Marathon event - in which we were the Charity of the Year – we would love you to take part as a volunteer at a time to suit you. If you feel that you could take on a fairly physically demanding role, why not sign up for our start line recycling activity? Based at one of the race's start zones, you will be working as one of our amazing recycling team, identifying donation points to runners and collecting/ bagging clothing ready for collection by our vans. Last year we raised around £20k through recycling unwanted runners' items in our shops. (Must be 18 years of age or above.) It’s a simple process to sign up to be part of our epic volunteer team at the London Marathon Apply for the London Marathon opportunity via our new volunteer hub using the link here. When prompted, choose your activity at a time to suit you. Training and a full briefing will be provided for your role ahead of the event to make sure you get the best from your experience. No particular skills needed just a willingness to get stuck in and be able to lift fairly heavy weights. If you can't do the lifting we do have a few other lighter roles.
A chance to help BHF to raise much needed funds for its research into heart and circulatory diseases and to meet new people and make friends.
