Saturday Receptionist Required

We’re looking for warm, friendly faces to join us as volunteer receptionists on Saturdays. 10-12pm and 12-2pm.

Be the Welcoming Face of Our Community in the Heart of Ewell Village! We are a thriving retirement community in the heart of Ewell Village, seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join us as Saturday Reception Volunteers. Who We Are: Abbeyfield Southern Oaks is a registered charity operating on a not-for-profit basis. We’re not a care home; instead, we provide supported and independent living options for older people who value their freedom and enjoy engaging with their local community. We are proud to say that we actively reinvest back into our housing to improve the lives of our residents. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys connecting with people and wants to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant and supportive environment. What’s Involved: • Welcoming residents, guests, and visitors with a warm smile and helpful attitude. • Signposting deliveries and ensuring smooth communication within our community. • Answering phone calls and taking messages efficiently. • Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as emails and Word documents (not essential). • Providing a friendly and confident presence at reception. What We’re Looking For: • A cheerful and approachable personality. • Strong communication skills. • Reliability and commitment to your shift. • Confidence to engage with residents and visitors. • A friendly, outgoing attitude to brighten up the day for everyone you meet!
