We are looking for van/ car drivers who are passionate about the refugees and Asylum Seekers cause, who can regularly transport donations around East London to ensure they are delivered to refugees in need. If you have access to a large car/ van, and have the ability or willingness to help people in need to go through this challenging for them time – please get in touch!
We are looking for van/ car drivers who are passionate about the refugees and Asylum Seekers cause, who can regularly transport donations around East London to ensure they are delivered to refugees in need. If you have access to a large car/ van, and have the ability or willingness to help people in need to go through this challenging for them time – please get in touch! Your main goal will be to move donations from their place of storage to the hotels and dispersal accommodation, so they can be distributed to the refugees in need. Refugees rely on the charity heavily to provide essential items, such as clothes, winter coats and shoes, and they are unable to purchase these themselves. This is therefore vital work to make sure the donations can get to them in a reasonable time. Time commitment: Flexible (we ask for at least 2h per week) DBS checks are required and we ask all volunteers to provide a DBS at their own expense initially, however once somebody has volunteered with us for 3 months, this can then be reimbursed by C4C.

Desirable skills: • Compassionate • Patient • Motivated • Passionate about Asylum Seekers cause • Ability to use WhatsApp, Zoom, Skype and other communication platforms All volunteers interacting with Asylum Seekers will be required to undergo the DBS check, Safeguarding training and in-house induction.
