You will support the contact centre Supervisor in supervising paid and volunteer staff members which make up the Single Point of Access (SPA) telephone assessor team.

Detailed Description

You will support the contact centre Supervisor in supervising paid and volunteer staff members which make up the Single Point of Access (SPA) telephone assessor team. The team take the initial calls from people living in the London Borough of Bromley, clarify the issues requiring help and either refer them to partners within Bromley Well. If we do not provide that service, signpost them to support agencies throughout the borough and beyond. To record the client’s personal contact details and a summary of the conversations on an on-line data base. The role is currently home working but there may be scope to work from an office in the future.

Why these skills are required

Have confidence and enthusiasm and a proven track record of excellent advice & people skills. Experience of supervising would be a clear advantage, although this is an excellent role for those who wish to build on their experience in leading a team, in order to continue to deliver a high-quality advice service. Recognise the issues in working from home for the telephone assessors and be able to support them and the standards required in the service they provide. Excellent I.T. skills and experience and the ability to support those with fewer IT skills. Minimum of 1 day per week, with some flexibility as to how these hours are worked over a week. Minimum commitment of at least 1 year.
