Contribute to the local community by using your skills to help recruit volunteers to help the 1st Cheam Scout Group deliver exciting opportunities to young people/
1st Cheam is a progressive ‘go ahead’ Scout Group that has been ‘working’ in the Cheam community for over 90 years ago. Our unpaid volunteers offer a wide range of activities at weekly meetings and other outdoor activities for boys and girls in the age ranges of 6 to 14.5 years. This is only possible if we can continue to recruit adult volunteers to join our leadership teams, and with more helpers we could offer activities to more children. Join us as our Recruitment Volunteer to recruit adults to help us deliver great activities for the young people of Cheam The main tasks will be to engage with our existing leaders and parents of children in the group, drive forward adult recruitment and interface with the Volunteer Centre Sutton who support us in our search for new volunteers. The volunteer needs to be able to engage with a number of different groups eg; current leaders, the Group's Trustees, parents of children in the group as well as individuals interested and supporting the Scout Group deliver its' objectives.
A chace to engage with others to really make a diffrence to young people in our local community
No regular evenings so the activities associated with teh role can be organised as you wish
