We are looking for volunteers to work in our mobile shop at The Royal Marsden in Sutton. The mobile shop is a really important service for patients and families on the wards, providing items which help make their stay in hospital more comfortable.

What you will do: You will be an ambassador for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, carrying out tasks such as: visiting wards and engaging with patients cash handling answering questions about the products on sale recording items sold & restocking the mobile shop manual handling of the trolley with a partnered volunteer If interested in this role please contact volunteering@rmh.nhs.uk quoting you found out about it through Volunteer Centre Sutton.

We need people who are: friendly and happy to chat to members of the public able to work well as part of a team committed and reliable passionate about making a difference to cancer patients

We would prefer it if you are able to volunteer with us for a minimum of 3-6 months • Please note this is an afternoon role - due to protected meal & rest times, the trolley may only visit the wards from 2pm.

The role is based within The Royal Marsden Hospital. The hospital can be accessed from entrances on Downs Road and Cotswold Road. There are various buses that serve the entrance to the hospital - S3 & S4 and the S1, 420 & 80 stop a short walk away.
