Detailed Description

Can you make a yummy meal out of playdough? We are looking for someone who doesn't mind getting a bit messy as they chat to families during our sessions. You will get to know our families as you cut, stick and paint with them. Working alongside one of our fantastic Early Years Practitioners ,you will get a chance to set up and clear up our exciting play sessions. As you get to know the setting and the Early Years Practitioner you'll have the opportunity to assist with the planning and help produce more fun and exciting opportunities for our families. You will be the friendly welcoming face that meets and greets our families as they arrive and puts them at their ease. Contact- Claire Borg. Why these skills are required

We are looking for volunteers who enjoy chatting and listening to other people and putting them at ease. You never know what each session is going to bring, we are looking for people who are flexible, enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour and are willing to learn new skills. All volunteers must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

There will be plenty of opportunities for you to attend outreach events at different centres, parks and hubs. You will have opportunities to socialise and network within the Children's Centres and Family Hubs and meet fellow volunteers.

Time Commitment

1-3 hours a week. Opportunities to work mornings or afternoons.
