Are you a reliable, caring, patient, friendly individual who would like to support some of the most vulnerable individuals in our local community? If you have a few hours to spare why not join us on board our accessible vehicles and help to tackle loneliness and isolation by assisting those who need the support to get out and about.
We are looking for individuals to assist passengers travelling in Merton Community Transport (MCT) vehicles. Alongside the driver, you will be responsible for the welfare, safety and comfort of passengers at all times, and offer assistance where appropriate. This may include assisting passengers on and off the vehicles and making sure all passengers are wearing seatbelts. We run a fleet of accessible minibuses and MPVs which transport individuals who through age, mobility, poverty or other reasons face challenges accessing public transport. Full training will be given, and you will be able to choose which days and times you are able to work.
