Volunteer Driver
Merton Community Transport
Volunteer drivers required to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community to get 'out and about,' preventing loneliness and isolation. If you like driving, have a caring personality, and a few hours to spare, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be given.
We are looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to drive our fleet of accessible minibuses and MPVs, transporting individuals who through age, mobility, poverty or other reasons face challenges accessing public transport. You will need to be over 21 and hold a full, clean, UK driving licence obtained before 1997 with a D1-101 entitlement or a PSVD1. Applicants will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check. Full training will be given and you choose which day and times you are able to work.
