Calling all enthusiastic gardeners of any age, expertise or ability. Join an exciting new project to grow something amazing whether that be wonky veg, fantastic fruits, fabulous flowers. Grow, paint, built and transform together. Gain new friendships and improved mental wellbeing along with a cuppa and biscuits! Great role for Duke of Edinburgh students to come to weekly and get stuck in! All this is required is an interest and enthusiasm for gardening. Learn from one another and learn new skills.
Learn new skills, create a beautiful space, feel good about yourself transforming a community space into something productive and potentially delicious, make new friends, get outside, get some gentle exercise and enjoy some eco-therapy, great for your mental wellbeing! We also provide tea and biscuits!
Anytime from 9am to 2pm weekly on a Friday, flexible with how long you come for.

-Bus 280 stops outside Hill House on Bishopsford Road. -80 stops nearby on Middleton Road 154, 151 and S4 stop by the Rosehill Roundabout. 5 minute walk from there (down Bishopsford Road) to Hill House. -Free parking. However, the community centre is also used for private events, whose guests also use the car park, so spaces may be limited.
