If you are good with planning and organising and have some project management knowledge and experience, then this might be the role for you. This is an exciting volunteer role where you will have the chance to put your skills in good use while gaining experience working in the voluntary sector and helping make a real difference to local people.
Fame Star Youth groups on a weekly basis to make bonds and friendships with other young people and to have a place to feel safe and be able to express themselves freely. The youth group is also taught about each sector of the media, from being in front to behind the camera. By the end of each consecutive year the young people would have put together an event to showcase their talents and what they have learnt. We are looking for an individual who can volunteer a few hours per week to help us around a number of tasks and activities related to project management. You will be helping us with leading and setting up a range of projects and activities that will be benefiting the local residents that are in need of our support.

Volunteers will gain experience working within the voluntary sector and community groups, practice their skills, and have the satisfaction of knowing their work made a real difference for people locally and beyond. References will be provided.
