Information Centre Volunteer - Brompton Cemetery
Friends of Brompton Cemetery
We are looking for volunteers to open and manage the Information Centre at Brompton Cemetery.
Volunteers work in pairs 2.5 hour shifts. Duties include: - open and close the Centre; - welcome visitors to the cemetery, answer any of their questions, provide information about the cemetery and its history (you will be given the information and there is guidance available at the centre); - offer visitors with guidebooks, postcards, Friends' magazines and other items for sale; - invite visitors to join Friends of Brompton Cemetery.

Ideally you have a can-do attitude and like community volunteering and interacting with visitors.
Enjoy the beauty of the Victorian garden cemetery, a green oasis in the on the Fulham and Chelsea borders. Join any other Friends' groups: phtography, tourguiding, gardening -- or start your own. Enjoy an occational tour or another outing organised by Friends.
This is an ongoing position. A volunteer can choose shifts at the Centre to suit their availability. Currently, the available shifts are 11:30-14:00 Mon-Thurs; 10:30-13:00 and 13:00-15:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12:00-14:30 on Sundays.
