Our School Visit Volunteers inspire visiting children and young people to learn about and enjoy the natural world. They aren’t afraid to get muddy and they let their passion for the outdoors shine through as they lead our visiting educational groups.
> Leading the delivery of practical and interesting activities for local primary schools and some secondary schools. > Following the existing programme of sessions linked with the school curriculum, adapting them to specific group needs as required. > Making sure things run as smoothly and safely as possible, including getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures and briefing each group on these. > Using and looking after resources and equipment used for school visits. > Helping to improve the schools programme by sharing your ideas and asking for feedback from visiting children, young people and their leaders. > You might like to participate in the ongoing development of the sessions to help keep them exciting and relevant for schools. > There might be some other activities that are also of interest to you, such as nature-themed activities for visiting families and adults.

> Available at least weekly on one or more of our school visit days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) to lead the sessions, which usually involves being on site from 9:30am - 3:30pm. We are especially looking for someone to cover Wednesdays. > Someone who enjoys working with children and young people. > Passionate about nature and outdoor learning. > Full of enthusiasm and excited about telling others about the natural world. > Friendly and ready to answer questions - you never know what you’ll be asked! > Keen to discover more about Morden Hall Park, including its wildlife and history.
> Join our Children and Young People department, a team at Morden Hall Park specifically dedicated to working with local children and young people (aged up to 25 yrs). > Help children and young people learn through practical sessions, as we welcome thousands of children on led school visits each year to study the park's wildlife and river. > Share your knowledge and enthusiasm, bringing Morden Hall Park to life to inspire the next generation. > Use your communication skills to deliver to varied groups, making everyone welcome. > Join an enthusiastic and friendly team and make new friends.
