Christmas crafting
Haven House Children's Hospice
We’re looking for a few volunteers to help us bring our Christmas grotto to life.
We’ve got the materials, plenty of ideas and lots of festive projects ready to go - from creating our grotto mailing room and Christmas signage, to making bunting, DIY candy canes, gingerbread houses and lots of other festive decorations. All you need to bring is your creativity (and maybe a little Christmas spirit!). No crafting experience needed, just come along, get stuck in and help us make our grotto extra special for the children and families who visit.

No specific skills are needed as we will give you instructions on what we are doing. However passion/experience in arts and crafts would be a bonus.
We have free refreshments for you on site as well as free parking if driving. Come and meet some of our fellow Haven House volunteers and join in with a fun activity.
We have three sessions available. Monday 9th November 10am - 1pm and 1pm - 4pm Thursday 12th November - 2pm - 5pm

We are about a 15 minute walk from Woodford station on the central line. Regular buses serve the area. We also have car parking on site.
