Youth Leader
South Norwood Woodcraft Folk
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children? We're looking for individuals who can teach children to learn about the world around them in a fun and exciting way.
We are looking for people who enjoy working with children and watching them develop awareness of themselves and the world around them, and who have the skills and experience to bring out this awareness. You role would be to work with and support each of our group - in particular Elfins (6-9 year olds), Pioneers (10-12 year olds) and Woodchips (under 6) - ensuring that the group meetings are happening, and that the young people are developing and learning in the way we expect, and that their voices are being heard. All leaders will attend weekly group meetings and work with the children and young people, and devise activities for the meetings as well as organising outings, trips and walks. All leaders will also be expected to work as part of a team, and to take on a specialist role within the South Norwood Woodcraft Folk.
