Do you enjoy the buzz of events and speaking to new people? This is the role for you.
RBC Race for the Kids is a family festival and charity fun run where participants can walk, jog, wheel or scoot 2k or 5k in London's Hyde Park on Saturday 10th October 2026. What’s involved? There are lots of fun varied roles to get involved with. Roles will be allocated closer to the event day - every role is valuable and important for making the event a success. Possibilities include: Cheering on event participants Meet and greet event participants Supporting with refreshments Check in people who are taking part in or attending the event Cloakroom support Handing out medals/goody bags

Individuals, aged 18 and over, interested in a varied and flexible volunteering role Individuals who enjoy meeting new people and helping others feel at ease Able to use your own initiative and carry out tasks unsupervised Ability to follow our policies and procedures to keep you, our staff, our patients, and our supporters safe Ability to represent GOSH and our values positivity and enthusiastically
Experience in the organisation and running of events Knowing you are providing support to event participants/attendees to ensure they feel appreciated and have a brilliant event experience Join an enthusiastic team of people and get more involved in your local community Use and develop your events and organisation skills, enhancing your CV if that’s important to you Knowing that you are helping seriously ill children, and their families have access to care and support.
