Assisting an early intervention provision to support families with pre-school children.
Support families with pre-school children in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey through Spring Community Hub’s Early Years Families Support provision. Volunteers will build positive relationships with parents and children, listen to families’ needs and challenges, help identify solutions, and signpost them to relevant services and support. The role aims to reduce isolation, strengthen families’ resilience and help prevent challenges from developing into more complex problems.

Reliable Creative Communication skills: A good listener who can build relationships with the families who attend Patient, kind and enjoys working with children. A warm and friendly approach, patience, and a positive attitude A team player willing to support other volunteers, and staff members and learn together, grow and inform service improvements. Desire to be involved in making change and motivate others for social change Good organisational skills A good understanding/experience of working with young children and dealing with a diverse range of people A respectful and non-judgemental attitude towards people’s problems and challenges faced in their lives A commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults This role will involve physical activities
