Teach seniors how to use smartphones and tablets to stay connected.

Detailed Description

DCWUK is a South East London CIC delivering education, digital inclusion and arts programmes. You'll help older people build confidence and skills using smartphones and tablets to stay connected with family and friends. We're looking for someone approachable, patient and empathetic first - IT or AI skills are a bonus, not essential. Sessions run Mondays 12:30-3:30pm at Parkside Community Centre and/or Tuesdays 12:30-2:30pm at Lewisham CommUNITY Space.

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills

Why these skills are required

Essential: patience, empathy and good people skills; comfortable teaching one-to-one or in small groups. Desirable: confident using smartphones/tablets.
