Mentor migrant girls aged 11–19 with academic support, confidence and integration. Women 18+.
Provide one-to-one academic and integration support to newly arrived migrant girls aged 11–19 at the Baytree Centre, helping them adapt to formal education in the UK. Support Maths, English, Science and English language skills, while building confidence, setting goals, developing study skills and celebrating progress. Requires strong academic background, patience, empathy, cultural sensitivity and ability to motivate. Spanish or Arabic highly desirable. 1 hour/week for at least one academic year, Mon–Thu, 4–6:15pm. Female applicants only; 18+.

- Strong academic background, ideally with GCSE or degree-level education in Maths, English, or Science, enabling the delivery of competent academic support. - Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to understand the unique challenges faced by newly arrived young people. - Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower mentees to achieve their goals. - Ability to speak Spanish or Arabic is highly desirable.
- Gain experience in mentoring and academic support for newly arrived young people. - Develop skills in cross-cultural communication and English language support. - Contribute to the academic success and integration of migrant girls in the UK.
- One one-hour session per week, with a commitment of at least one academic year. - Weekday sessions run between 4:00 pm and 6:15 pm (Monday to Thursday).
