Lead Life in the UK test sessions, build knowledge and confidence. Women 18+
Lead weekly preparation sessions at the Baytree Centre, helping participants gain knowledge and confidence to pass the test. Explain test content, answer questions, share study strategies and encourage peer learning in a supportive, inclusive environment. Requires strong knowledge of test content, patience, empathy, cultural sensitivity, organisation and communication skills. Minimum 2 terms; day/time subject to timetable. Gain teaching, facilitation and cross-cultural communication experience. Female applicants only (Equality Act 2010: Schedule 9); 18+.

- Strong knowledge of the Life in the UK test content, with the ability to teach and explain topics clearly. - Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to support participants from diverse backgrounds and knowledge levels. - Good organisational skills to ensure smooth preparation and delivery of sessions. - Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere. - Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback. - Interest in education, citizenship, or community support.
- Gain experience in delivering educational group sessions. - Develop skills in facilitation, teaching, and cross-cultural communication. - Contribute to participants’ confidence and readiness for the Life in the UK test. - Be part of a supportive and welcoming volunteer community.
- Deliver a weekly Life in the UK test preparation session (day and time subject to the timetable). - Minimum commitment of 2 terms for continuity and effectiveness.
