Main duties of the job What youll be doing Supporting vulnerable and distressed attendees Providing welfare and reassurance Assisting at our Welfare Hubs Supporting our Mobile Welfare Teams Helping reunite separated friends and family Promoting a safe and inclusive environment (No medical experience is required.) Why these skills are required

No previous event welfare experience is required. We are looking for friendly, reliable and approachable people who are passionate about supporting others. Useful skills and qualities include: Friendly, approachable and non-judgemental Good communication and listening skills Calm and confident when dealing with people Able to work effectively as part of a team Respectful of different cultures, backgrounds and individual needs Reliable and able to follow instructions Awareness of confidentiality and professional boundaries Willingness to support vulnerable or distressed people Able to recognise when to ask for additional help Experience in welfare, healthcare, first aid, social care, youth work, mental health, safeguarding, community work, events or customer service is welcomed but is not essential. Full induction and role-specific guidance will be provided.
