Detailed Description

Join Shooting Star Children's Hospices at the Ealing Half Marathon and help us support our incredible team of runners as they take on this fantastic challenge. This is a rewarding and fun volunteer opportunity where you'll play an important role in motivating participants and raising awareness of our vital work. As an Ealing Half Marathon Volunteer, you may be asked to: Cheer on and encourage our runners throughout the event. Help create a positive and energetic atmosphere. Meet and welcome runners before and after the race. Assist with setting up and tidying our supporter point, if required.

Why these skills are required

No previous experience is required. We are looking for volunteers who are: Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable. Confident engaging with members of the public. Passionate about supporting our runners and the hospice. Able to stand for periods of time and work outdoors.
