SHP Gardening Volunteer
Single Homeless Project Peer Mentor & Volunteer Team
Enthusiastic volunteers with gardening knowledge needed
We are running a pilot garden scheme at one of our hostels in Islington. The large garden has recently had a makeover and we are looking for volunteers with a keen interest in gardening to help maintain it and also support our resident client to develop an interest in gardening. At present the pilot is in the development stage and volunteers will be encouraged in the design and implementation of the programme. The role requires a DBS check and we ask for 2-hours per week volunteering. Reasonable travel expenses provided.
