Our shifts run Sundays 10.30am - 2.30pm, and you can volunteer for half or full shifts. There are a variety of different roles, including cooking a delicious hot meal and dessert in the kitchen, packing food bank orders in back-of house, serving up the food, or taking orders and interacting directly with our guests. Our guests are always so grateful for this essential service. It is very rewarding to know you are helping to make a tangible difference in the lives of our community's most vulnerable. Come try it out and see for yourself the difference you can make, and the smiles you can bring to people's faces!
We ask people to come for a minimum of 1 half shift per month to stay connected and involved (roughly 2.5/3hrs per month).

St John’s is five minutes’ walk from Finsbury Park Station on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines, and only five minutes’ walk from bus stops on Blackstock Road (4, 19, 106, 236), Seven Sisters Road (29, 253, 254, 259) and Green Lanes (141, 341). Please ring the Ring doorbell on the SIDE DOOR around to the LEFT of the church's main entrance (on Gloucester Drive).
