Free to Be run adventurous, nature based residentials to give vulnerable young people a space to have fun and to feel invited and accepted. In order to make these projects run, there is so much that needs to be organised behind the scenes. As a volunteer supporting us with administration, you would be right at the heart of the team and all that needs to happen to make our projects run safely and smoothly.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, regardless of their previous experience working with young people. No special skillset is required; we recognise the value of a team consisting of different personalities and strengths. If you are an empathetic, patient and adaptable person you will fare well with us. Please note that we can only accept volunteers aged 18 or over. We especially encourage applications from those who represent the lived experiences of our children through their own lived experience or background.

Ideally 1-2 days per week, but this is flexible. We ask ideally for a minimum commitment of 6 months due to the investment in recruitment and training of the successful applicant.
