You will be providing vital support for the running of the Hammersmith Community Social Group.
• Support the setup of the venue for the group to take place. • Welcome people as they arrive and help them to feel included and settled. • Check in with people and follow up with staff about any concerns. • Support with the preparation and serving of refreshments. • Help facilitate the day’s activities e.g., bingo, chair exercises, quizzes, and raffles. • Support the general running of the groups, running small errands, etc. • Help the clean-up of the venue to be ready for the next group.

The Community Social Group Volunteer’s role is to support the running of the London Irish Centre’s Social Groups. This involves giving a warm Irish welcome to everyone. You will help ensure a safe and friendly environment where people can connect with others in the community. Our aim is to empower people to live healthy, connected lives.
