Are you interested in history or eager to gain experience working in collections?
As an Archive, Library and Research Volunteer you will check and record details about collection items and ensure that the records are accurate for future preservation. You will also learn how to digitise collection items to support the Collections Online website that the public has access to and learn about the objects in our collections. This role will help you to develop an understanding and gain experience working with collections digitally.

This role is perfect for you if you… Are interested in gaining experience working with the Archive and Library collections Are comfortable using computers and have practical IT Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Can lift and carry documents, and operate a scanner Can work methodically, with good accuracy and attention to detail Enjoy working as part of a team and learning new skills Are passionate about history and/or heritage

How much time would I need to commit? One full day or half day, ideally once a week, between 10.00 and 16.00 at the RAF Museum London.
