Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Oversight & GovernanceMonitor Grants & Funding StrategySupport the executive team and fellow board members in shaping a sustainable income-generation and fundraising strategy. Advise on grant-seeking approaches, funding pipelines, and major donor or statutory funding opportunities. Evaluate risks and rewards associated with large-scale funding proposals, investments, or borrowing. Help translate complex financial and funding data into clear insights.

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Evaluating & Reviewing, Negotiating, Organising & Planning
Professional background in finance, accounting, business management, or investment/grant management.Practical experience in securing, managing, or evaluating grants, trusts, or diverse funding streams. Strong strategic vision with the ability to balance financial risk against charitable impact. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial reports clearly to non-financial colleagues.
