Four Square Partners is bringing long-term vacant commercial buildings back into use as community accommodation. We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to support the development and improvement of our digital infrastructure. You will own the full stack end to end. Frontend, mobile first, responsive, accessible pages for the public sites and internal systems. Backend: Node.js or Python, database design, authentication, API integration, google sheet, automatic transactional emails, and payment system. You can work with other tech people to keep the infrastructure tidy and documented: hosting, environment variables, security. * Develop and maintain the Four Square Partners website and associated digital platforms. * Build front-end interfaces that are clear, accessible and easy to navigate. * Develop and maintain back-end systems, databases and APIs. * Support potential platforms for building submissions, property assessment, partner management and project tracking. * Develop secure forms and workflows for property owners, councils, partners and other stakeholders. * Integrate relevant third-party services and APIs. * Ensure appropriate data protection, security and access controls. * Troubleshoot, test and improve existing systems. * Work with the operations team to translate business requirements into practical digital solutions. You are comfortable deploying website code, hosting. Your should be able to take a spec or web design from here 'it's the mockup' to 'it's live' without hand holding. JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Node.js or Python, SQL or a document database, REST APIS, Gitlab, Firebase. Google Analytics a plus.
A portfolio that isn't another todo app. You will ship systems that route people into housing and assurance work, with real users and real stakes. You get autonomy - you choose the stack within reason, and help us build the modules that scale with us without having to start again with each version.
10 hours per week minimum, flexible remote role with weekly meetings.
