Pharmacy Volunteers - Friends of Moorfields

Friends of Moorfields

As a pharmacy volunteer you will be responsible for supporting the team in serving patients collecting their prescriptions after treatment.

Detailed Description

As a pharmacy volunteer you will be responsible for supporting the team in serving patients collecting their prescriptions after treatment. At this current moment in time we do have good coverage at City Road so may not be able to give you the role if we have coverage on the day/s & times free. If you are happy to join in another role while a space becomes available/can wait until the opening of the new site we should be able to give you a slot in this role.  Friends of Moorfields volunteers perform an extremely important job ensuring that all patients who come to Moorfields feel comfortable, reassured and receive the best possible treatment regardless of the outcome of their appointment.    We require all volunteers to undergo the recruitment process which includes some online training and a DBS check. All volunteers must be willing to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week (morning or afternoon session) for 6 months.  We will be happy to support volunteers with references/UCAS statements, training opportunities and looking for careers.
