Friends of Moorfields
As a marshalling volunteer at Moorfields you will be on hand to help support our patients arriving for treatment. This can include providing verbal instructions for them to find their clinics, physically guiding them to their required service and supporting the patients with information about the move to our new eye centre in summer 2027.
As a marshalling volunteer at Moorfields you will be on hand to help support our patients arriving for treatment. This can include providing verbal instructions for them to find their clinics, physically guiding them to their required service and supporting the patients with information about the move to our new eye centre in summer 2027. This role is currently taking place at out Moorfields site at City Road. As a charity we will be relocating to our new centre in summer 2027 based on St. Pancras Way NW1 0PE. Friends of Moorfields volunteers perform an extremely important job ensuring that all patients who come to Moorfields feel comfortable, reassured and receive the best possible treatment regardless of the outcome of their appointment. We require all volunteers to undergo the recruitment process which includes some online training and a DBS check. All volunteers must be willing to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week for 6 months. We will happily provide references/UCAS statements for all volunteers and can provide support in finding work opportunities.
